We apply our expertise from RIBA Stages 1 to 6 and provide a comprehensive and integrated approach to the design and delivery of sustainable, functional, and visually engaging outdoor spaces.
Throughout each stage our focus remains on creativity, collaboration, and environmental responsibility.

We aren’t always able to share details of our projects but we are highly experienced in the below areas of landscape architecture and are happy to share our portfolio on request.

Stages of
Landscape Architectural Services
01. Concept and Feasibility
(RIBA Stages 1-2)
At this stage we focus on early strategic input and concept development.
In Stage 1 (Preparation and Brief), we contribute to defining the project brief, assessing site opportunities and constraints, and identifying key environmental and planning considerations.
At Stage 2 (Concept Design), we develop initial design proposals, exploring spatial layouts, access, planting strategies, and integration with existing site features.
These stages lay the groundwork for a cohesive and sustainable landscape that supports the overall architectural vision.
02. Co-ordination and Technical Design
(RIBA Stages 3-4)
During RIBA Stages 3 and 4, landscape architecture services focus on refining and detailing the design to ensure coordination and technical feasibility.
In Stage 3 (Spatial Coordination), landscape architects develop the design in greater detail, coordinating closely with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure the landscape integrates seamlessly with building layouts, site levels, drainage, and access requirements.
In Stage 4 (Technical Design), we produce detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation required for construction, addressing materials, planting plans, construction methods, and sustainability measures.
These stages ensure the landscape design is fully resolved, buildable, and aligned with regulatory and client requirements.
03. Construction and Aftercare (RIBA Stages 5-6)
During RIBA Stages 5 and 6, we support the implementation and long-term success of the design.
In Stage 5 (Manufacturing and Construction), we provide site supervision, respond to contractor queries, review drawings, and ensure works are carried out in line with the approved design and specifications.
We can also attend site meetings and conduct inspections to monitor quality and progress.
In Stage 6 (Handover and Close Out), we assist with final inspections, snagging, and the preparation of maintenance schedules, ensuring the landscape is established correctly and ready for handover.
Ongoing aftercare advice may be provided to support long-term landscape performance and sustainability.
