Heritage and Conservation Projects

including Parks, Historic Gardens, Cemeteries and Churchyards

Protected and historic landscapes are fragile and need to be cared for. Many heritage landscapes are widely accessible by the public and we recognise it is important to protect and conserve these special places, whilst at the same time continuing to allow public access, maintain the natural environment and improve habitats for sometimes threatened and protected species. These projects require a thoughtful and sympathetic approach, which we have developed over many years, and our work has included park and garden restoration projects, cemetery design, surveying landscapes in environmentally sensitive areas including national parks and ancient woodlands, commissioning public artwork and working with local authorities whilst  engaging with local communities throughout any consultation process. We can assist with tree surveys, funding applications, provide information about suitable grant opportunities and prepare long term landscape management strategies.

If you have a project in mind we would very much like to hear from you.
