How much will it cost?

This is the question we are most often asked. There are no two gardens the same anywhere and each design is unique, therefore we have given a great deal of thought to our fee rates.

A consultation visit costs from £150. This allows for a survey and consultation to discuss ideas and gives you the opportunity to benefit from our advice and suggestions. This amount is payable at the time, but if you decide to proceed to a detailed design it will be deducted from the final balance.

Following this we will provide you with a quotation for our design services. As an approximate guide our fee for the design of a 100m2 garden would be in the region of £650, but this can increase for more complicated sites, for instance with slopes or terraces.

For contract management on most projects we normally charge an hourly rate so that you pay only for the actual time worked. On larger projects we charge on a percentage basis of the total cost.

You will probably find that the total outlay for your completed garden, professionally designed and built, would be akin to the cost of an average family saloon car, but will give you many more years of pleasure without the depreciation and will typically add around 5% to the value of your property.
