When we start to design we always take an holistic approach. We start from the soil up - establishing your soil type and its drainage characteristics.  Next, we look at your own individual microclimate. This includes the temperature range, the amount of rainfall and any prevailing winds.  We base each  design around our unique eco-audit which minimises any harmful effects on the environment. We look closely at the effects of climate change. This may involve increasing resilience to flooding by the use of sustainable drainage systems or by incorporating rainwater harvesting and irrigation systems. We will suggest eco-friendly features as appropriate such as green energy systems. Finally, we choose plants and features which will help to attract wildlife and naturally tolerate your set of climatic conditions. Your design will be unique to you - we promise!
